Halloween in Beaufort: A Spooktacular Experience

1. Carteret Street United Methodist Church
Every year the Cateret Street United Methodist Church gathers hundreds of pumpkins for a pumpkin patch. Come and pick the perfect pumpkin for the season.

- The Patch will be open daily from September 29 through all of October.
- Monday through Friday: 12-6 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Sundays: noon-6 p.m.
2. CAPA and Exchange Club’s annual Beaufort Ghost Tours
The Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) volunteers are stepping up to help break the cycle of abuse and neglect for our children. Every October, Ghost Tours takes over downtown Beaufort to entertain, enchant, and raise funds for CAPA through Halloween. Join us for a delightful experience—reserve your spot today! 3. Frankentoys – Creepy Contest at the Port Royal Branch Library
Oct. 17 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. the Port Royal Branch Library welcomes Tweens and Teens to make creepy creations! Contest with prizes to follow. Feel free to bring your own toys and materials, or work with the library’s. This program is suggested for 6th-12th graders. Younger participants are welcome with a parent or guardian’s supervision.
4. Halloween Book Signing at Beaufort Bookstore
Don’t miss your chance to share in the magic and bring home a signed copy of Halloween in the Hollow by Kellie Savery Langan. 5. The Highway 21 Drive-In Trunk or Treat
The 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat at the Drive-In is happening on October 19 from 2-5 p.m. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon with family-friendly activities and classic Halloween movies!

6. City of Beaufort Halloween Celebration
Get ready for a spooktacular time! Bring your little ghouls, witches, and wizards—we can’t wait to see their amazing costumes.

7. Haunted Island Halloween at Hunting Island State Park
Put on your costumes and join us for Haunted Island Halloween on October 26 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Event Highlights:
- Trick-or-treating, games, and a scavenger hunt
- Costume contest at 6 p.m. with prizes announced at 6:30 p.m.
- Food trucks by the Lighthouse Gift Shop from 3 to 7 p.m.
