The Beaufort Film Society is thrilled to announce the 19th Annual Beaufort International Film Festival in 2025!
Over six days, festival-goers can immerse themselves in an incredible lineup of international and local short films, feature films, animations, thought-provoking forums, guest speakers, exciting surprises, lively parties, and the timeless beauty of historic Beaufort.
Meet the filmmakers behind the magic! Many creators will be present to discuss their work and answer your questions—a rare chance to engage with rising talent and experience their early projects before they achieve widespread recognition. The festival’s mission is to celebrate and honor aspiring filmmakers across a variety of genres, including independent film, music, animation, short and feature-length narratives, documentaries, and screenwriting.
The event also shines a spotlight on the stunning, “film-friendly” Beaufort and the Carolina Sea Islands. This picturesque region has been featured in over 20 major motion pictures, such as Forrest Gump, The Big Chill, and The Prince of Tides.
