Join us for a night to honor our ancestors, Neesa’s home.
Samhain is a festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the “darker half” of the year. At this time of year it is believed the veil is the thinnest between the living and the dead, we gather to honor and listen to our Ancestors, those who are on the other side of the veil. Come join us in Celebration and to hear what our Ancestors have to tell us !
- There will be an Ancestors table for you to place tokens, pictures and those things that help you to remember and honor your loved ones. (you will take these items back home with you)
- We will start with a Potluck, at 6 pm so bring a passing dish
- Your Journey will begin between 6:30 and 6:45 followed by Meditation and Honor Circle. We will end with dessert so that we can Ground and Center before departing for home.
- We are honoring our Ancestors, so dress accordingly, wearing layers is helpful, Dress as you feel comfortable, ( but not holey jeans etc) Ritual wear, Cloaks, dresses etc. Bring a chair so that you may be comfortable during the Meditation and Honor Circle around the Fire. This is an Adult only outdoor event. (Young adults at least 16 may attend but only with a parent or guardian attending)
