Come Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of St. Helena’s Prayer Services and Help Preserve the Old Sheldon Ruins.
Friday, April 25th 2025, at 5:00 pm: In 1925, the Reverend Maynard Marshall announced to the public that The Parish Church of St. Helena would hold a service of prayer at the ruins of the Old Sheldon Church at Old Sheldon Church Road, Yemasse, SC 29945. Now we are celebrating the 100th Anniversary of that prayer service. First, with a party, on Friday, April 25th. Tickets for this event are now on sale at sthelenas1712.org.
Sunday, April 27th at 11:00 am: A prayer service will be held . Bring your chairs and a picnic lunch.
Monday, April 21st, from 10 am – 1 pm.: Finally, the Old Bull Silver that was originally used at the Old Sheldon Church will be on display at St. Helena’s sanctuary.
In the event of rain on any of these dates, all events will be held at St. Helena’s, 507 Newcastle St. Beaufort, SC 29902.
