This spring, four different blues acts will be performing live on Paris Avenue:
May 7, 2022: Waylon Thibodeaux – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Waylon Thibodeaux’s rollicking, crowd-pleasing performance on stage is exactly what one would expect from someone who, at age 16, was Louisiana’s state fiddle champion. He never fails to serve up a good helping of spicy, high-energy Louisiana and Cajun/Zydeco music.
May 21, 2022: Memphissippi Sounds – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
A custom blend of North Mississippi hill country blues, Memphis blues and soul, rock, pop, and hip-hop.
June 4, 2022: Brooke McBride – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Brooke McBride is a “no fluff,” “no filler” singer/songwriter that prides herself in just being downright real. The North Carolina native is defined by her raw, sultry and smoky vocals as her signature; her rockin’ live performance is “country music at its best with a razor edge.”
June 18, 2022: Tony Holiday – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Tony Holiday, the “Prince of the Porch” as he’s called by Blues Blast Magazine, is an award winning singer and harmonica player based in Memphis.
