Billy and Nancy Rhett opened their little gallery on Bay Street in 1981. They bought and restored 901 Bay Street, a wonderful old building built in 1884, for a larger gallery. Today the collection of art and antiques is even larger and continues to grow. Their upstairs gallery is full of beautifully framed Civil War artifacts and prints. They also have an extensive collection of antique maps that span the globe and range in age from the 1700s through the early 1900s.
Sea Islands Center Gallery at USCB
The Sea Islands Center Gallery is the art gallery of the Studio Art Program of the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Since 2012, the gallery has hosted visiting artists, traveling exhibitions, group exhibitions, and shows of student and faculty work. The mission of the gallery is to promote the academic and creative programming goals of the Studio Art Program and to serve as a catalyst of creative inquiry and exploration within the region. All exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.

I Pinckney Simons Gallery, LLC
Since 1979, the I. Pinckney Simons Gallery has endeavored as art consultants to both clients and artists throughout the United States to educate, collect, and place original art. Working with Christie’s and Sotheby’s Auction Houses through the years, they have acquired fine paintings per collectors requests, reaching many aspects of the clients. The award-winning artists exhibiting in the I. Pinckney Simons Gallery are members of the Oil Painters of America, Pastel Society of America, Portrait Painters of America, Impressionist Society of America, Plein Air Society, as well as other active regional and statewide artists associations.

Atelier Off Bay is a group of 14 working professional artist studios and galleries open to the public in Historic Beaufort. Visitors are treated to a unique, engaging and dynamic fine art experience. Located at the corner of Bay and West streets, it is an opportunity to view, purchase or commission original fine art in a wide variety of styles and mediums.
